Under the browser bar, there are some sites listed (RSS feeds etc.) how do I remove these? Also, how do I add a Refresh the page icon? I preferred the old Firefox!

The refresh button can be found right next to the address bar (curved arrow). In firefox 4, the refresh/stop/go button have all been merged into one. You can customize it if you want by going to View>Toolbars>Customize and then you can separate the two.

If you want to remove the entire Bookmark toolbar below your address bar, then simple go to View>Toolbars>Bookmarks Toolbar (Uncheck that and it will disappear). However, if you just want to delete an item on the bookmark toolbar, right click(2 finger click) and then select Delete
