Can users have option to turn off features
In Chrome you can turn off anti-malware.This is just one example. Another possibility is turning off 'Speed Up of hardware'

Have a look at all Firefox options to see what you can change.
- Tools > Options
I think more could be done to give users options to turn off features.For example the 2 features that I mentioned in my original question,turning off anti malware and turning off speed up of hardware in Firefox 4.x
You can find the options that you mentioned in the Security and Advanced tab in Options
