Firefox unresponsive after suspend/resume

This is using Firefox 4 on Mac OS 10.6.7.

Whenever the macbook pro resume from sleep ; Firefox becomes unresponsive (but not hanged). I can close tabs ; but I can't select a tab. I can't scroll in a displayed page. I can't quit Firefox with Command-Q ; I must force-quit .

Interestingly, there's no spinning mouse wheel.. From all accounts everything looks okay ; just that you can't do anything with firefox other than doing a "force-quit"
