whenever I need to access my local router, I type the router URL in the location bar. Firefox is automatically adding "http:\\ which causes to router to not respond but try to send the URL to the internet. Access to the router is necessary to maintain security of the wireless part of the router. Other than when typing in the URL (www.xxx.yyy.zzz), having the http automatically added is fine.
