You can place a shortcut to the Firefox program in the "Startup" folder in "Start menu > All Programs".

You can copy the Firefox shortcut from the Mozilla Firefox folder to the Startup folder.

I on't appear to have a Startup folder in MY Start Menu. I'm using XP - could that affect things?

Did you check Start > All Programs > Startup ?

You can browse to the Startup folder in your Windows account with Windows Explorer and move or copy the shortcut to that folder.

C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\
