The last time Firefox updated, a new toolbar appeared. I got rid of most of the buttons but there is still a search part I cannot get rid of. How can I make this go away???

No new toolbar has been included with Firefox 3.6.13, it only contains the bookmarks toolbar and navigation toolbar. Your list of add-ons show that you have installed several toolbars (Google, Winamp, Yahoo, BitTorrent Bar). For details of how to remove the toolbars see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Uninstalling_toolbars

There are also other things that need attention:

Your above posted system details show outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks that you should update.

  1. Shockwave Flash 10.1 r85
  2. Next Generation Java Plug-in 1.6.0_15 for Mozilla browsers

Update the Flash plugin to the latest version.
