No, it is a Firefox issue ... when I change my default browser to Safari the problem goes away. I had to copy and paste the link back to this forum because the link did not work with Firefox as my default.

I had a similar issue before ... it was an add-on that conflicted with the Mail program.

Weird ... I had two extensions that seemed to conflict with each other but when I turned them off one at a time and then re-enabled them the problem went away. the two extensions were "multi row bookmarks tool-bar" and the "US English Spell-checker 5.0.1"

I have this problem at work (Outlook 2011) and at home (OS X Mail). The only common addons I use between them are TabMixPlus, Firebug, YSlow and Web Developer.

I was able to fix the problem by disabling the extension 'Garmin Communicator 2.9.3' (a browser that allows communication between web sites and garmin gps devices). Sounds like there is an issue with certain extensions (since everybody who has posted so far has a variety of extensions installed) that is causing the problem.
