when I downloaded yahoo toolbar, I lost my other firefox tabs, like "tools" and "bookmarks". How do I fix this?

The only thing left is the Yahoo toolbar. all the other options are missing... When I tried to uninstall the yahoo toolbar, it tells me to use the "tools" option and that does not exist anymore. I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it 2x already and this damn thing won't go away!!! I want my firefox back!!! the way it was!
