After upgrading Firefox I'm not able to re-open all sessions. When restarting Firefox only my default window is opening, using the : Tools -> Options -> Startup -> Use previous sessions openned only my default page appears. Any Ideas ?

Regards.

Chosen solution

If you use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox in Firefox 3.5 and later to clear the 'Browsing History' when you close Firefox then restoring tabs from the last session ("Save & Quit" or "Show my windows and tabs from last time") doesn't work.

Your above posted system details show outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks.

  2. Next Generation Java Plug-in 1.6.0_16 for Mozilla browsers

Yes, it was the case, modifying the "Clear Recent History" by "Keep" works now ! Thanks for the help. Regards. Vince

You're welcome.

You can mark a thread as solved if you click a link to choose a post as the solution. I assume that you find such a link in a response email. I've never done that myself, so you need to find that yourself.

Early this morning, I started getting the pop-ups about a new update, however, because I was in the middle of doing something, I dismissed it. I just opened up Mozilla and the tabs from my previous session didn't open and I believe I received the most recent update of Mozilla (version 3.6.10). My operating system is Windows XP, I don't have any add-ons. In terms of plug-ins, I really don't know if any of my plug-ins could be causing problems. So, how do I restore my previous session? Please help me. This is so annoying. Thanks.

Not working her either. Mac 10.6.6. Tried all options listed. Clear Browser history is not checked; FF is told to re-open last session but this never happens. Ideas plse?

Delete sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Profile Folder
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
