I've setup Firefox sync app on my laptop and have now also installed it on my PC at work. when I setup on the work PC I proceed through: I'm already using Sync on another computer - I then proceed to: Enter Account Information - when I complete this I get the answer: Incorrect username or password. I have checked Username and Password on my profile and I'm using the correct login information - but I can't access. Can you help me with this problem?

Do you have a user name with only lower case letters?

I've seen it mention that that can cause this issue.
If you have the try a user name that starts with a capital.

Also have this problem.

Synced on home machine and synch has happened as checked time stamp.

No 'username' in synch profile but current account is the full gmail address I used.

I type that into Firefox Home on iphone as username.

Had password with capital letter but changed it as capitals not in list of allowed characters.

Still get message - username not found.

This appears to have been a bug which has now been fixed.

I just downloaded an update to the Firefox Home app on my iPhone and repeated all my previous steps - username is full email address - and it now works !

I had to Reinstall Windows XP, Firefox, and Now Synch does NOT have a Sign in Button in Tools Menu! Synch is not downloading my Previous Bookmarks, Passwords, etc. HOW can I fix this?

'I am still waiting for a FIX on this Synch Problem? is there one forthcoming soon? I Have FoxFire 4.01' There was a Previous Synch in Tool Menu to down;load into Bookmarks in Firefox!

Sync has been incorporated in the Options window:

Tools > Options and you'll find the Sync tab there.
