How do I activate attachment etc. on the insert bar? MAC OS10

HOtmail account on my Firerfox Web browser is no longer able to activate attachment or emotioncons etc. on the insert bar. Previously worked. I do not know what changed . No problem when I use Safari, however I am a Firefox user and my other friend with Macs have not had this problem.... Thank You Buz
