Cannot change the printer from Adobe PDF to my standard printer.

When I print from IE, I have PDF printer as an option but it uses my default printer, hp photosmart. On firefox, my default printer is a choice, but no matter what I try to select, Adobe PDF printer ends up in the selection box. Do I have to disable something to get this to work in Firefox? This just recently happened. It never did this before.
