Can't keep icons on my menu/toolbars

I routinely customize my toolbar in Firefox by adding the following ICONs. A printer, an e-mail, and the Download Helper icons. I don't know what happens but after a while I will notice that all the icons I just customized are gone, and I will have to reset up the features on the toolbars.
