Proxy server is refusing connections; I removed and installed program; get same message.

Because problem continued I removed the program and then downloaded it and had the same results.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

User Agent

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727)

In Firefox 3.6.4 the default connection settings have been changed to "Use the system proxy settings". See #Firefox_connection_settings|Firefox connection settings

You can find the connection setting here: Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select No Proxy
