My facebook chat is very laggy. I have to refresh if I want to see what the other guy said. My firefox is up to date with the latest version.

Whenever I use facebook chat, it lags. It shows that the other person is still writing even though eh is not. i have to refresh to get the messages, etc..

My firefox is up to date with version 3.6.3

Is there any solution? Thanks.

Check to see that your plug-ins are up-to-date: 

   https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/

and see the help article about what to do if Quick fixes if your Firefox slows down.

Also test your Flash player and confirm the version (please check using each browser, if you have, say, IE & Firefox installed)

For those using Facebook Video Calling, because it eats bandwidth, disabling it when you're not using it may help too.
