How do I change the fonts on the main page.My fonts have recently changed without my doing anything. They are like 6 point instead of the 12 I am used to. Email font is now huge. Is this an ATT/Yahoo problem or Firefox. Safari fonts seem to be o.k.

How do I change the fonts on the home page? They recently shrank from 12 to very tiny..(6 pt?). I did nothing to change them, but after the event tried to change them using "preferences-Fonts"which had no effect. ATT seems to have made a change in their email. The fonts in the email are now huge (18 pt?). This could be an ATT/Yahoo problem with Mac, although Safari seems to be working o. k.

Hello Jim.

Please read this support article: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Changing+fonts+and+colors I hope it helps. In my experience, having the default font size changed from the default 16 may create graphical oddities.

Your problem may be related to zoom levels, however. Read this support article to know more: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Page+Zoom

There's also this support article that may contain additional information if what I said before doesn't help: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Websites+look+wrong

Not even close. Did all the things you suggested before I sent in my question. Sorry. Looks like an even deeper problem rather than a stock repy. JJD

You may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

I don't have any add ons and have not added any extensions other than those that were put on when I started the machine for the first time. I do know there is a conflict between the new ATT Yahoo mail and both Safari and Firefox because when I reverted to "Classic" some of the formatting problems went away. My PC doesn't' show any of these problems, but it is on Internet Explorer. ss I am contacting Apple this morning to see if there is some hidden setting I may have toggled since I am new to this laptop. If I hear of anything, I will let you know. l We might ask other Apple l0.6.3 users if they are seeing conflicts between ATT Yahoo, Yahoo and Snow Leopard.

Jim, extensions are also add-ons. Add-ons include extensions, themes and plugins.

Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you need to make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in safe mode and select Disable all add-ons. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See this article for information about troubleshooting extensions and theme. You can troubleshoot plugins the same way.

If you want support for one of your add-ons, you'll need to contact its author.
