Install, update and run these programs in this order. They are all free for personal use, but some have limited functionality in the "free mode", but those are features you really don't need to find and remove the problem that you have. (Not all programs detect the same Malware.)

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware - http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php SuperAntispyware - http://www.superantispyware.com/ AdAware - http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ Spybot Search & Destroy - http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html Windows Defender - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/defender/default.mspx Dr. Web Cureit - http://www.freedrweb.com/cureit/

If these don't find it or can't clear it, post in one of these forums for specialized malware removal help: http://www.spywarewarrior.com/index.php http://forum.aumha.org/ http://www.spywareinfoforum.com/ http://bleepingcomputer.com

I have the same problem with seekyz.com, but I use mac os x. Are there good and free anti-malware programs for os x (most of the links appear to be exclusively for windows)?

I would add the use of an ad-blocking hosts file. As of 2007, the once-popular "Mike's hosts file" is no longer updated or available.

Fortunately there is another that is being updated monthly at: MVPS hosts file

I have a dell xps and I am having the same problem. How can I get rid of this stupid website, it will not let me x out of it, and it asks me to hit the ok button. But I refuse to do that, because it become potentially more harmful to my computer and I do not like that at all.
