I am looking for the widget.windows.window_occlusion_tracking.enabled preference setting on Linux. I was wondering if this setting was available on Linux? I have seen it on Windows. I was also wondering when this setting was introduced and if it is still active in the latest version of Firefox.

Thank you.

It looks like widget.windows preferences are just for MS Windows:

Are you looking for a preference to prevent Firefox for Linux from reducing activity when its window is not active/in front/on top?

Hello! Thank you for your reply. Yes, I was. Wondering if there was anything I could do other than adjusting the throttling settings? Just want to make sure all possible settings have been adjusted to prevent this.

What throttling settings are you referring to?

Try disabling Wayland by setting the MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=0 environment variable.

Try installing the extension Always active Window (Always Visible).
