Firefox Imported my bookmarks from my google chrome browser

Hi, I use google chrome for work and firefox for personal use. I did not want firefox to import my bookmarks from Googe Chrome but somehow it did. Do I have to remove these bookmarks one at a time? And how do I prevent this from happening again?

Look for the folder named "From Google Chrome" in the bookmarks toolbar (Command+Shift+B) and delete it.
