Internet browsing in Firefox Desktop halts a few times a day
As I use Firefox throughout the day, webpages will just stop for a bit. Sometimes its only a few seconds, other times for a few minutes. It is most noticeable when playing videos but does happen at other times as well. During the halt, I can still access Firefox's settings and all menu items. It is just website interactions that stop.
For example, when a halt occurs on youtube, the video will eventually stop, depending on the buffer, and scrolling through the comments won't pull up any more and replies won't load. Then after a few moments, everything will start working again without issue, and all the uncompleted actions (such as opening new replies or trying to go to another page) will execute.
I used to think it was related to my computer's connection to our company's access server, but refreshing my connection through a CMD ipconfig /renewall worked so rarely that I assume it was just coincidental timing.
I also tried turning off hardware acceleration, but that had no positive effect. I'll make a separate post about that issue.
The thing that fixes it every time is odd: launching Chrome. I wanted to make sure it was just Firefox, so I tried launching Chrome, and then Firefox started working immediately. (Spotify still plays when Firefox halts too)
Is there anything I can adjust to keep this halting from happening? I can manage right now, but it is sort of annoying to launch Chrome every time.

It's been about 2 months now, but this behavior persists. It has become almost a reflex to start Chrome, then close it again every time Firefox halts. Fixes it every time without fail.
Is there some Windows 11 service that both Firefox and Chrome use that might get reset when I start Chrome, but not Firefox?
I've confirmed that starting a new window of Firefox doesn't fix the issue.
edit: plug-ins installed are Ublock Origin, Video Speed Controller, and, for the last two weeks, Social Fixer for Facebook

In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
- Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A list of Submitted/Unsubmitted Crash Reports will appear, similar to the one shown below.
- Copy the 5 most recent Submitted Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.
Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.
(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

I should note, however, that my issue occurs far more often than this, since it doesn't crash when my issue occurs. It just halts whatever is loading, then immediately resumes when I open Chrome.

Reinstall the Visual C++ Redistributable.
Does it still happen with Sophos Intercept X disabled?
Does it still happen with "Dark space - The best dynamic theme" disabled?
Small update. It just occurred again, despite having reinstalled the Visual C++ Redistributable and disabling the Dark Space theme.
I suspect Sophos Intercept X may be to blame, since this isn't the first time Sophos has impacted Firefox. See this question: And this question
Because this issue is on a company computer on a company network, I'll see if our IT has anything to add.
