The Wordle game does not load correctly. I see blocks for guesses but not the used and available letters. I use Firefox on a mac. Any ideas?

Is your Firefox showing a large blank area at the top of the page where it seems that normally an ad would appear? For logged in subscribers, that area is supposed to hide. Here is a recent thread about this issue and things to check: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1391268

Try to disable Enhanced Tracking Protection.

Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content.

  • click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection

You can check the Web Console for relevant-looking messages about blocked content.
