Mark as read after forwarding or replying
I'm running the latest thunderbird (91.6.2) on windows 10 and would like to mark the emails I receive as read after I forward or reply to them, is there any way I can do this?

Not to my knowledge. However, you could define tags for read or forwarded; that would provide a visual reference.
Create a filter from Tools/Message Filters that looks like the attached picture.

Will this apply to all incoming e-mail?
Filters are defined per account, and are applied automatically to the Inbox, or can be run manually on any folder.
