Whenever I open Firefox fresh, it hangs on a screen and becomes unresponsive. I’ve tried a fresh install and going through all my program files and getting rid of anything related. I have no extensions or add ons and it still does the same thing in troubleshoot mode.

It did the same thing on windows 10 as well as now that I upgraded to 11

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox application. Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

See:

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support to see if that has effect.

I re added all the permissions for firefox in windows firewall, AVG and Malware bytes. That didnt seem to make it any better. Starting in safe mode its still happens momentarily but it loads in about 5 seccond with no becoming unresponsive.

Is there now another step to do with this new information?
