Thunderbird & windows 11
Merry Christmas Everyone. I have been using thunderbird for email with windows 7 for several years, and it does exactly what I need. One thing I definitely need is my own folders for different incoming email. No problem with windows 7 but I cannot find how to make them with windows 11 (old laptop gave up - had to buy new one). Right click on existing default folders or email name does not offer the option. All folders is ticked, as is folder pane. Hope you can help. Thanks

Hi Toad-Hall, Thanks for taking the time to reply. 64 bit, Tbird 91.4.0. Attached jpeg of what I get if I right click on account in folder pane.
Have solved problem, tripped over it. In top right hand corner of screen is the "hamburger" 3 horizontal lines. If I select the account and folder to which I want to add sub folder, and then click on the hamburger, a NEW option is offered, including folders.

What version of Thunderbird are you using and is it win32 or win64? You can get that info under 'Help' > 'About Thunderbird'
Are you talking about creating folders in an IMAP account, POP account or the 'Local Folders' mail account?
Please post a jpg image showing what you see in the right click drop down menu.
Right click on mail account name in Folder Pane should offer 'New Folder' in drop down menu. Right click on a folder should offer: 'New Subfolder' in drop down menu.
