After updating Thunderbird Portable 78.10.0 (32 bit) to 78.12.0 I regularly get the error message "The server imap.gmx.de has dropped the connection. The server is either down or there are network problems.". I work with Win7 Prof. (32 bit). As soon as I install the version 78.10.0 again, the error is gone again. Therefore I suspect that the error is only caused by version 78.12.0. Therefore an update is excluded for me for the time being! Kind regards B. Schlösser

What are your settings, and what is the antivirus and its mail settings? Using a VPN?
