It sounds like you have a complex issue. For many of us, if not all of us, here in the USA we have very little understanding on the censorship methodologies in your country.

If i were to take a guess of the issue you have, i would say your graphics card may be infected. But this is only a guess.  :-)

My first suggestion is to use MS Edge browser to preserve your Firefox user data. Open Edge and execute a full import from FireFox.

Thank you. But this is a somewhat sad news...I would say Firefox is a good browser in general, and I still hope to find a good solution.

FF has some very good functions such as proxy switching convenient for browsing blocked website like Google, and keeping of website's username and password.

Have you see any messages related to missing VC Runtime files? That can cause Firefox to be mostly inoperable (tabs empty, address bar not functional). There's a dedicated page to get the latest installer for the shared VC Runtime files:

When I encountered a very similar problem, I downloaded and ran both the 32-bit and 64-bit installers in the first section of that article ("Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019"). Then I restarted Windows and all was normal again.

I don't know whether 64-bit users need the 32-bit install, but Windows didn't object when I ran it (I ran it first, then 64-bit second).

Not sure whether that will help you.

There is a new version of FireFox being released this week. So while i read many posts of issues and problems, it is difficult to gauge which ones will be resolved with the new version or make worst.

It is also possible that your FIreFox is a symptom and not the problem on your machine.

In meantime, i'd say preserve your FF user data via the ME methodology i provided.

I've never seen any messages related to missing VC Runtime files, but I think installation of latest VC Runtime files may not be harmful to my PC system. I am trying it.

I have backed up the "xxx.default" folder when FF worked good. The file's path is: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles. Formerly when FF crashed, for a few times, I would uninstalled and reinstalled FF and then put the backup "xxx.default" folder into the same path, plus properly modifying the ini files in the one level upper directory, the FF would become good.

Therefore I hope I can import personal data into Edge from the seperate backup "xxx.default" folder rather than FF.

ok, my friend. as long as you are confident you have a good system in place for backing up, then this is good news.  :-)

now as for the other issues you have with FF, lets wait for the new version of FF to come out. The new version may have fixes in it (or not).

but in the meantime, see if running FF in safemode and also using it in a Windows Clean mode might help.

When i say Windows Clean mode (and not Windows safemode), it means to disable all the starting apps that are launching with windows desktop. So you can open the Task Manager and go to Start up Tab and temporarily disable everything that is enable.

Then reboot and try out FF again.

If the above provides some benefit, then i think we might be on the right track with establishing that the system may be the problem and FF is a symptom of it.

I am disappointed that FF is not installed successful till now.

The newly installed latest version 89.0 seems good now. Any FF friends encountering the similar problem to mine, please install the latest version 89.0 without choosing "Run as Administrator" and "Compatible Mode" in Firefox shortcut properties.

Regret for this issue because it occurs to me for the first time and its solution was completely out of my imagination.
