streaming video channels start playing randomly

Hello, I typically have one or two of the usual TV streaming sources open, with a video/movie/show paused. About once a day, one of them starts playing without any input from me. This prevents re-starting viewing at the point I paused it, and forces a somewhat laborious search for the proper starting point. This happens with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and Peacock, and it happens when one or two of these services are open. I am on a MacBook Pro, running 10.15.7 Catalina, and Firefox version 88.0 64-bit. Thanks.
