mp3 files downloaded didn't get recognised as a mp3 file by the device

more options

Mp3 files downloaded by using Firefox or Firefox Nightly didn't show up in my music player (Samsung Music) and didn't get recognised as a mp3 file by my file manager (Samsung My Files), tapping on it brings up a pop-up saying you don't have any apps that can play that file and them searchs the play store by writing "mp3"! This happened before as well but there was a workaround - 'Renaming' the file solved the issue but now it just make the file recognisable by the file manager as a mp3 file but it didn't (still) show up in the music player.

And before you ask, no it's working fine with Chrome. Please fix this, this is the only thing that's stopping me from switching completely to Firefox. I Still have to use Chrome for downloading mp3 files, which is pretty inconvenient as I like to keep Chrome disabled.

My phone is Galaxy S9+. Region is India.

Also, this is not the first time Firefox had issues with mp3 files. Before it couldn't download mp3 files from the website pagalworld.mobi and some few others. It has been resolved after I complained about it.
