This subject has been discussed so often; but no answers fixes the problem!! Strange!

Are there any grown ups from Mozilla on site?

The problem suddenly appeared on my TB after I resized one logo file a bit.

I have discussed this for years... so I assume i am not a grown up. But ten I am very much of the opinion that the issue is almost always dodgy HTML usually generated outside of Thunderbird.

The user support document suggests creating the signature file in Thunderbird and to be honest I have seen very very few in the past 10 years hat have issues with the process if they edit the profile that way.

What I generally see are documents created external to Thunderbird edited by hand that often have table cells that are too small for the contents so they are not displayed. But you like the last load of folk are welcome to send an email with the signature to matt_au@gmx.com and I will have a look and see if I can figure out your issue.

Hi Matt

The thing is that this has appeared suddenly. The code has been the same for 2-3 years, just a statement to display a file in the footer; generated by SmartTemplate! well we're outside, but.... Funny thing is that it all started when I went and downsized one of my footer images for a specific account. I then resized another, and at the same time saved it as .PNG, and changed the code. I did that to all 3 files/acconts, and vupti - problem gone.

Claus (also sure if I'm grown up :-) )
