Open Firefox Browser maximized with macOS

I use Firefox in maximized screen mode in macOS. When closing Firefox and opening again it does not open in maximized mode. Most Mac software opens exactly the way it was closed, Safari for instance. But not Firefox. How can I open Firefox (always) maximized? Note: I don't mean that its size just fills the screen and leaves the menu bar on top. I mean "the macOS maximized way" after pushing the green button, where you have a separate desktop for the app without menu bar visible on top. And I tried editing xulstore.json - with no result. Anyone any idea?
