Bideo on BBC website are not playing in Firefox

it has been going on for a while. When I go to BBC website and try to play a video it does not load, I have to try refresh page a couple of time and may be start stop the video to get streaming going but most of the time it takes 4-5 trials.

I realised if I open that page in Chrome the video immediately starts when I click play, no glitch. Before I dump the FF can anyonw tell me what is causing this problem?
