Problem started after upgrade to 78.4.0 I have a template in which I have two bcc entries. First one is a list, second one is an individual. If viewing the template in the template list, I see both bcc. When template is opened for composing, the second bcc email is missing and has to be manually added again. Have tried resaving template - same problem.

Chosen solution

I also filed a bug report at same time.

I also did some testing and discovered the following which you find useful. Create simple email with two Bcc entries. first is a mailing list second is a single contact email address save as template select 'Templates' folder to check details of template saved correctly. All is ok. click on template to open in 'Write' window and the second Bcc entry has been removed.

So this replicates your issue.

If I reverse the order so the single person is first and the mailing list is second, then the template works and when used both Bcc display.

I suggest you change the order of the Bcc to see if this works for you.

if I have a Bcc with single contact, followed by mailing list, followed by single contact, save as template and then use, the last contact after the mailing list is removed.

if I have a Bcc with single contact, followed by mailing list, followed by two single contacts, save as template and then use, the contact that immediately follows the mailing list is removed.

Conclude, any recipient entered immediately after a mailing list will be removed when you select to use the template. So the mailing list must be entered last.

hi rghockin I've just tested this on my system and can reproduce exactly the same error, so I'm going to report this as a bug. I'll post another comment with a link to the bug report.
