SMTP user keeps changing
My version of Thunderbird is 78.3.3 I have 5 accounts in Thunderbird. But strangely, for 2 of them that are on the same SMTP Outgoing Server (smpt.office365.com), their usernames seem to be secretely linked. When I modify the username of one of them through "Modify the SMTP Server", it changes the username of the other account as well ! So I have to constantly modify the username when I want to send a mail from one account or the other, that's painful. And strangely, none of the other 3 accounts (including another on office365 as well) are impacted, they kindly keep their own username. Thanks for your help

You should have each account sending through an smtp server with the same User Name. If you need to create multiple servers that differ only in the User Name, create them in Tools/Account Settings, Outgoing Server (SMTP) at the bottom of the left pane. Give each server a distinct Description, e.g. O365_1, O365_2 etc.
Next, select an account in the left pane of Account Settings, and choose the correct smtp in the Outgoing Server (SMTP) drop-down in the lower right pane. Edit SMTP Server... to confirm the User Name of the selected amtp matches that of the selected account in the left pane.
