Just wondering.... I noticed that zipping or copying the firefox profile folder takes off really fast, the computer estimates the remaining time, then progress slows to a crawl before it finishes much later than originally estimated by my computer. Once the zip is complete, that file can be copied at usual speeds. Is there something in the profile directory that causes more work than usual for file copy or compress?
