Why every Android browser, even Firefox reload the page when I press back? Or I 'reopen' app - let's assume it was not killed by battery management - that is just choose it from multitasking again? You have cache! I want that!

At least an advanced setting option for that would be nice.

I open a big page. Link/browse to another. I go back to big page. Should I really have to wait 7 seconds to get my same position on big page? Oh. That's better solved on desktop.

Just try any news page, like

www.bbc.com/news/world

Is this not a reload but only slow re-rendering?

Hi Sikolyat

Thank you for your question.

I think this just comes down to resource management. Not all Android devices are high end so it makes sense to not have so many active process running.

Also, given that Android devices tend to be mobile, an awareness that making it easier to refresh the page helps people browse quickly and easily.

I hope this helps.
