I just discovered the ability to hide the menu bar. Considering the amount of time I spend on a laptop I need all the vertical real estate I can get. I also found this - https://tinyurl.com/y8rljq4n - which is great just hit Alt to turn it on and off as needed.

Based on what I see the Alt function is only a Windows operation it does not work in Linux? Is there another way to bring the menu bar back up as needed?

I see on the right side of the toolbar the three bars for other options down the bottom of the dropdown are menu items - File/View/etc. I don't believe all of the menu items can be accessed here can they? In particular Tools / Account Settings; probably one of the most used features from the menu bar I don't see where that is accessible here unless I am overlooking it. Any other suggestions to access this?

Chosen solution

In the article you cite, it's possible to choose the OS in the 'Customize this article' menu. On Linux (and Windows), F10 shows the Menu Bar.

Account Settings is under Options on the 3-bar menu.
