Password protection on a site/folder hosted by Earthlink doesn't work in Firefox 77.0.1. This worked in previous versions of Firefox, as recently as about 2 months ago. I've cleared the cache and restarted the browser numerous times, which always worked before when testing the password(s).

Can you help or explain?

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is/are the exact error message(s) ?
