Firefox 75.0 opens up 8 copies of itself all at once - slowing everything down - unusable

Firefox 75.0 opens up 8 copies of itself all at once - slowing everything down - unusable

When I open up task manager I see 6-8 Firefox entries. It takes 30 seconds to open up a URL No other browser does this. It did not used to do this. I may have to leave Mozilla for the firs time in 20 years (Netscape 1.0!)
