Short version: I tried to change from POP to IMAP account, on my main PC. The new IMAP account did not work correctly so I wanted to delete it. By accident I've deleted my POP account with all my e-mails.

Fortunately I do have another PC on which I still have these emails.

Thunderbird does not remove the mail when you delete an account, just removes it from the folder pane.
