hi, DoT has some disadvantages - firefox isn't implementing it (yet?): https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/dns-over-https-doh-faqs#w_why-is-firefox-implementing-doh-and-not-dot https://archive.fosdem.org/2019/schedule/event/dns_over_http/ (minute 30:00 onwards)

I was concerned that my DoT which initially worked on my android configured with Private DNs one.one.one.one stopped working. I will stay with Doh.
