Hi,

In our case I found eventually that it was due to ESET having been installed with all its defaults on the PC’s - once I stopped ESET checking the email client all was well.

Regards

Geoff

This is seen by some Mac users. No fix yet. See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1242885#answer-1179483 which can help. Please post your results here.

Using mxtoolbox.com to test your smtp server indicates a timeout after 15 secs. If this is due to a problem with Macs mentioned in the bug report, I suggest in the meantime you point drafts to Drafts on Local Folder in the Copies & Folders section of Tools/Account Settings.
