Are there tools/addons to help me manage my Thunderbird address book?

more options

I have a fairly large address book, and a couple of dozen groups of addresses, and a book of Collected Addresses. It's getting to the stage where I could use some help in highlighting which addresses aren't already in a group. Are there tools/addons to help me with that?

Chosen solution

Yes, you can see which mailing lists (your 'groups') and address books a contact belongs to. If you select All Address Books in the left pane, and enable the Address Book column, you can also see which address books contain a contact, but it doesn't show if a contact is or isn't in a mailing list.

The MoreFunctionsForAddressBook add-on (for TB 60 and lower) has an option where you can search all address books and mailing lists to show which ones contain a particular contact (see picture). There may be other add-ons that offer related features.

I am a bit confused here. I have installed it. I can open a contact and see which lists/books it's in. Is that what you meant?

Yes, I see now. Thanks. That helps quite a bit.
