Our company uses Microsoft 2fa authorization. There is no option to create separate "app password" in office365. But I would like to use Thunderbird any way.

Is there any planning to make Thunderbird 2FA compatible? 2FA is working in Firefox after all..

I noticed this article about app passwords and office365. Does it not apply to your setup?

I've seen this article. "App Passwords." is not available in my Office365, so 2FA must be working in Thunderbird itself.

OK, I see that app passwords may or may not be supported by the office365 installation. Since TB currently doesn't support 2fa, I don't see that you can use it with office365 if an app password isn't available.
