Cannot get online or sync!!

I cannot bring up any websites in Firefox or internet explorer on my pc. I do have a cable connection that is working on all my other devices and shows good on this pc that I have Firefox on. I looked under options and saved passwords and it shows that my Firefox password was changed yesterday. I did not change it. I cannot sync either. Please help!!

Also when I try to sync, and I click on my account, it says check your email to verify my account and I don't have an email verification. Then I try to open sync settings and sign in and I have no internet connection to do this. Although I really do have internet connected to my pc.

Are you sure your security software isn't blocking firefox internet access?

I ran an AVG scan and it was resolved after it was finished and there were no threats found. Not sure what happened, but it allowed me to sync finally and get back my internet.

That to me sounds like ISP issue. So did nothing connect during that time when you had the problem? Because you mentioned IE didn't connect that to me would point towards internet issue or ISP issues.
