want to open email to new window by default

Just moved to Windows 10 on new machine. Installed fresh Thunderbird. merged my address book from old computer. I want to be able to click on mail in inbox and have it open to a new window, instead of in a tab. This is how my old computer is set up in Windows 7, but I cannot seem to find how to do this again on my new set up.

Would copying some part of the profile from the old machine work?

The relevant settings are under Tools/Options/Display/Advanced.
