Firefox constantly fails on Mojave 10.14.5, but Safari doesn't. Should I just switch?

If I want to watch a Facebook link, I can only do this on Safari. I cannot log onto Reddit except on Safari. Gmail can only be relied on on Safari, as links on Firefox regularly fail. Is anybody working on this, or should I just give up and switch?
