When you refresh/reset Windows, your data usually a be preserved, either:

  • left in its original location, or
  • saved under C:\Windows.old

However, it sounds as though you might have done something that didn't provide those options???

The Sync settings lets you select the categories to Sync, so whether logins were selected before is something we probably cannot know, but you can double-check that they are selected now:

  • Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
  • Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
  • Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
  • Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it

In the left column, click "Sync" or "Firefox Account". Then your Sync settings should be displayed on the right.
