Firefox does not display antyhing anymore

I have a HP laptop with win 10, which gets only used from time to time.

now suddenly Firefox does not work anymore: It can open tabs, but they never show anything - no Websites, no Settings, no addons, no matter what I try.

Nothing was changed on the Computer, probably some automatic updates were installed when it went online again. Edge, which i am using Right now, works without a problem (but inserts upper case characters all the time...), as do Thunderbird and "the Internet".

I tried: reinstalling, running as admin, checking if win Defender/Avast has started to Blocking something.
