      -Uninstall Thunderbird from your computer-

How to completely remove Thunderbird?

Thunderbird is a email client and Firefox is a web browser.

Firefox is made by Mozilla and Thunderbird has not been a Mozilla product for a while now as it is made by a Thunderbird community.

Thank you for your response. Actually information in the location you provided is not correct (or complete at least). For example it specifies as profile location AppData/Roaming while I found another instance of profile data at the AppData/Local.

This location isn't exactly part of the Thunderbird profile. Typically cache folders are created at that location, and they don't contain any significant data. So they won't get backed up along with the actual profile.

No you asked how to remove Thunderbird completely. Why you want to do this is not specified/. It is a logical extension of such a question to ask why. Particularly in a forum where the misguided appear regularly with some expectation that "starting over" will actually fix their problem and are disappointed when they do not find the success they think should flow from that course of action.

Then there is this other misguided group that think they can clean a computer sufficiently to pass it on to someone else without a thorough scrub of the hard disk an a full reload of the operating system from bare metal.

So as a group we are wary of people asking to fully remove Thunderbird, because rarely do they actually want to do that.
