You can get the SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT error message when you try to open a website via the secure https:// protocol, but the server isn't configured for secure access and is meant to be accessed via a htpp:// links.

If you use an extension that forces a secure connection then create a block exception, otherwise make sure to use the http:// prefix to access this website.

You may have to check the SiteSecurityServiceState.txt file in the profile folder for references to this domain.
